Albany County SAFE Project was founded in Laramie in 1980. The mission of SAFE is “to advocate for victims of domestic abuse, sexual assault, rape, and incest, and to create change through education and awareness to eliminate violence”. We also serve victims of child abuse, elder abuse, and stalking.

Our confidential services include: a 24-hour hotline, crisis intervention, safety planning, emergency cell phones, medical advocacy, community resource referrals, emergency food and transportation, court escort, assistance with stalking and domestic violence protection orders, emergency shelter, mental health referrals, community education and prevention programs and events. We are not qualified to give legal advice.
