BOARD MEMBER OPPORTUNITY
Are you interested in offering your skills, knowledge, and connections to a nonprofit that helps survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault, and stalking?
Consider joining our Board of Directors to help make an impact in our community.
We're also seeking a potential board member who is comfortable with reviewing finances and budgets to be part of our finance committee. (You don't need to be a professional; just be the type of person who can balance a checkbook!)
BOARD OF DIRECTORS
Board members are a vital part of our team who help guide our organization to help the staff and volunteers better serve survivors and prevent violence in our community. If you might be considering joining our Board of Directors, but would like to know more, please reach out to tour our office, meet a board member or two, or to join us for an upcoming board meeting.
What we're looking for in board members:

Someone who has a passion for helping survivors of domestic and sexual violence and stalking

Will be committed to moving SAFE Project forward

Possesses connections and resources or is willing to build on our program's current connections

Demonstrates compassion and leadership
Board participation involves oversight of SAFE Project's overall big picture, goals, and finances, supporting and evaluating the executive director, assisting with fundraising events, and participation in one or more special committees. Meetings are generally 1-2 hours one weeknight each month or two plus less frequent special committee meetings and one annual meeting/workshop.
