COMMUNITY OUTREACH & AWARENESS

Audience Watching Presentation

SAFE Project recognizes awareness months for domestic violence (October), sexual assault (April), stalking (January), child abuse (April), and more. Visit our Events & Outreach page for awareness and prevention dates and to find local events and activities in our events calendar. Some past awareness activities have included candlelight vigils, marches, events in the park, community fairs, Denim Day, and information and statistics shared via pizza boxes, drink coasters at bars, and coffee cup sleeves.

In addition, our outreach efforts include sharing information with community members and students in Albany County through presentations, tabling, brochures, newsletters, social media posts, and more.

Would you like us to present to your school, organization, or group on our services or a specific topic?

Our Outreach Coordinator, Garett, would love to work with you!
